Managed services (also known as Operational Maintenance Outsourcing – OMS) cover the tasks of monitoring, administration, and operation of SAP environments, ensuring their Operational Readiness (OR).

The objective is to maintain optimal systems based on the following four main pillars:

  • Availability: Users must be able to perform their tasks at the times required by their activity.
  • Security: Users must be able to access their transactional data, regardless of their location, with the highest level of confidentiality for the data being handled.
  • Performance: SAP response and processing times must not impact users’ daily work.
  • Scalability: SAP environments must be regularly updated and capable of supporting the implementation of new features or technologies.

The above services are carried out using Solution Manager and other operational and administrative tools.

Applium’s approach aims to manage all monitoring and administrative tasks across the various hardware and software layers required for SAP’s proper functioning. Applium offers a flexible and modular solution, particularly suited to the needs of SMBs.

Each Work Unit includes:

Work Units are divided into four categories:

  • 4 WUs related to actions on operating systems for SAP

  • 8 WUs related to actions on databases (regardless of their type: SAP HANA, Oracle, MS SQL, ASE, etc.)

  • 31 WUs related to actions on SAP (account management, client management, patch application, etc.)

  • 44 WUs related to infrastructure actions (on our Azure-compatible and OVH hosting offerings)
