Assigning a task to a resource can be done by drag-and-drop.
The drag-and-drop functionality of ARS – Applium Resource Scheduling provides an intuitive, user-friendly interface for assigning tasks to resources. It considerably simplifies the scheduling process by making it easy to move tasks to available resources.
Simply select a task and drag it to the desired resource. The application automatically checks the compatibility between the task and the resource, according to predefined criteria. If compatibility is confirmed, the assignment is made instantly.
The use of drag & drop saves time and improves the ergonomics of resource planning. It makes the process more fluid and intuitive, enabling users to manage task assignments efficiently.

A load/availability check is automatically performed, according to the principles defined in the design:
- An overload indication may be displayed
- An overload block can prevent the resource from being allocated to a planned overload.
- The user can also be notified by an overload warning message with a suggestion of possible actions:
Users can notify employees by e-mail, with integration into Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar.
ARS – Applium Resource Scheduling’s e-mail notification feature enables employees to be informed of tasks assigned to them, straight to their inbox. Integrated with Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar, it provides seamless communication and timely updates, improving team collaboration and task management.
The workload planning application enables users to analyze their teams’ workload, planned requirements and remaining work to be planned.
