SAP’s Activate method is designed to encourage the adoption of standard processes and secure project schedules and budgets. It breaks down into 6 Phases and is based on three pillars:
- Best practices: A ” Fit-to-Standard ” approach based on SAP Best Practices, preconfigured to leverage the key features of S/4HANA Cloud or On-Premise and accelerate solution adoption.
- Methodology: A proven methodology that aims for continuous adoption of innovations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Accelerators: regularly updated and enhanced gas pedals, templates and deployment tools.
Each of the 6 Phases contains clearly defined activities and deliverables. The entry and exit criteria for each phase are formalized and controlled, enabling a strict Quality repository to be applied to the project.
Activate also provides gas pedals, tools and pre-defined implementation best practices (SAP Best Practices), including standardized, pre-configured, integrated and ready-to-use business processes.
The S/4HANA Cloud offer, in Private Cloud or Public Cloud editions, is based on SAP Best Practices, not only for the initial implementation, but also for any changes required by the business (opening of a subsidiary, acquisition of a company, launch of a new product, etc.).
