Philanthropy as “love of humanity” is not just an individual matter. Today in France, according to the panorama of generosity, individuals (59% of donations) are more generous than companies (41% of donations). Of the 104,000 corporate sponsors in our country, declared sponsorship represents €2.153 billion, compared with €1.350 billion in undeclared sponsorship. And yet, generosity can be expressed in exchanges between profit-making and non-profit organizations. The fluidity of exchanges of goods and services between associations and companies is an important issue at the environmental and social level, which is part of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

The 2022 edition of the USF Convention (French-speaking SAP users) in Lyon, France, will focus on the theme of “le Numérique Responsable, tous acteurs!” SAP is organizing a Virtual HACK FOR GREEN Hack2Build competition. Companies taking part in the event are invited to propose and solve a business problem by creating an extension to SAP Sustainability solutions using the Business Technology Platform (BTP).
10 SAP partners present a prototype, 4 are selected with a demonstration at the convention attended by 1860 visitors representing over 350 companies using SAP solutions.Among the winners, the Solidex application (a name composed of the concepts ‘Solidarity’ and ‘Exchange’) developed by Applium was awarded the ” Coup de Cœur” prize.
A few months later, Applium announced to USF its intention to go beyond the prototyping stage: eventually, the application will be an eco-designed solution made available to organizations in order to encourage solidarity-based reuse of goods by combating waste, and to encourage employee investment in local associations.
It is planned to market the solution to companies in the near future.
We are delighted to learn that Applium is continuing the SOLIDEX adventure. At USF, we really liked this project, as it seemed to us very representative of the associative world in which we operate.
It is therefore with pride, and in alignment with its CSR approach, that Applium has taken up the SOLIDEX subject, the aim of which is to meet the following needs:

Upcoming developments on the Solidex portal
- Automation of carbon footprint gain calculations : direct connection with the ADEME IMPACTS database so that the association can draw up the re-use certificate specifying the emission avoidance
- Control: controls are managed via BTP, facilitating maintenance and the evolution of management rules
- Validation: only donations validated by the 2 parties (association and company) via a code exchange enable certificates to be generated
- Traceability: donations can be audited in the application and the calculation of aggregated values for the company is facilitated in order to complete the tax reduction and sponsorship form.
- Integration: on activatable option, link with SAP ERP for calculation of residual value of fixed asset / stock in case of supplies and with HR SAP for calculation of employee hours valuation
